My favorite version of Early Morning is by Gordon Lightfoot (who I met twice, BTW...).

I do believe that Lightfoot wrote "Early Morning Rain." Although i never heard this version by PP&M I do remember them as being part of my very early intro to folk music. Pete Seeger, Josh White and so many others...I want to go backwards damn it!
